Run a certified industry programme on your own campus
We license the curriculum, train and certify your faculty to teach it, bring industry leaders in for guest sessions, and hand you the file your accreditation team needs. Your students never leave campus and you hire nobody.
The gap analysis needs no login, takes about two minutes, and produces a page you can forward to your academic council.

How it works
Six steps. Most of the work sits with us, and the teaching stays with you.
We agree the programme
A short written agreement covering the curriculum, the cohort size and the certification route. Nothing starts before it is signed.
You nominate faculty
Two or three of your own lecturers. They stay your employees and they teach on your timetable.
We train and certify them
A two to three day trainer programme, on your campus for the first cohort and online after that. Your faculty are certified in their own name — it is a credential they keep.
Your faculty deliver the course
In your classrooms, in your term. We are not standing between you and your students.
Industry leaders join online
Senior figures from our council give guest sessions to the whole cohort over video, so the students hear from people running the industry they are about to enter.
Independent assessment, then certification
A third-party assessment agency examines. Neither we nor the college marks our own students. Successful candidates receive a certificate, and you receive the documentation file.
Why colleges do this
Four reasons, stated honestly.
It counts at accreditation
Industry tie-ups and skill provision are assessed. This produces a documented, dated programme with named external partners and independent assessment — the kind of evidence an accreditation file is short of.
It strengthens your faculty
Your lecturers come out of it personally certified as recognised trainers. That is a credential on their own record, which is why faculty tend to push for this rather than resist it.
No hiring, no capital cost
Nothing to build and nobody to appoint. Where a corporate or CSR sponsor is involved, the programme can be underwritten entirely and cost the institution nothing at all.
Your students get something portable
A certificate with an independent assessment behind it and a recognised council on it travels further in an interview than an internal course completion letter.
One thing we will not tell you: that you are required to do this. You are not. An institution is permitted to design, assess and certify its own skill courses without any external body. What we offer is recognition your own certificate cannot give itself, faculty who come out qualified to teach it again next year without us, and independent assessment so the result stands up to scrutiny. If those are not worth paying for, self-certification is a perfectly reasonable choice and we would rather say so now.
The people behind it
Hamara Mentor is an initiative of UGrowth Consultancy, working in association with MEPSC — the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council, a Sector Skill Council under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship — and aligned to Skill India.
Our council includes 122 senior Indian industry figures, many at chairman, managing director and chief-executive level, who have volunteered their time to skilling and to causes including education for children, support for defence families and the girl child. They are the people who join your cohort's guest sessions.
The hardest part of any skilling programme is not the content and it is not the trainers. It is filling the seats. A college has already solved that problem — the students are on campus, enrolled, and turning up. Everything else can be brought to them.
