 General Information

1. What is the purpose of the mentoring program?  

- Our program connects you with motivated individuals seeking guidance, helping you share your expertise and make a positive impact on their careers.  

2. Who can become a mentor? 

- Professionals with significant experience of min 8 years and a passion for guiding others in their career or personal development journey.  

3. What are the benefits of becoming a mentor?  

- You’ll have the chance to share your expertise, build meaningful connections, give back to the community, and sharpen your leadership and coaching skills—all while earning well.

Mentor Onboarding

4. How do I sign up to become a mentor?

- Simply fill out our online mentor application form, tell us about your experience and areas of expertise, and we’ll guide you through the rest.

5. What qualifications or experience do I need to be a mentor?

- We look for professionals with substantial experience in their field/subject who can offer valuable insights, advice, and encouragement to mentees.

6. How do I set up my mentor profile?

- After being accepted, you’ll receive guidance to create a detailed profile highlighting your expertise, experience, and mentoring style to help mentees find the right match.

 Sessions and Scheduling

7. How long do mentoring sessions typically last?

- Sessions typically run for 30 to 60 minutes, but this can vary depending on the mentee's needs and your availability.

8. How are mentoring sessions conducted?

- Sessions are conducted through live video calls in-person.

9. How can I schedule sessions with mentees?

- Mentees will book time slots based on your availability, which you can manage through the platform’s scheduling tool.

10. Can I reschedule a session if something comes up?

- Yes, you can reschedule directly through the platform using ‘EDIT’ tab. We recommend notifying the mentee 24 hrs before.

Mentoring Process

11. What should I focus on during a mentoring session?

- Focus on understanding your mentee's goals, providing personalized advice, sharing your experience, and helping them work through specific challenges.

12. What if I feel the mentee is not a good match?  

- That’s okay! You can discuss it with the mentee and suggest they find another mentor who may better fit their needs. 

Managing Expectations

13. How do I maintain a professional boundary with my mentee?  

- Keep discussions focused on career and professional development topics, and establish clear boundaries from the start to ensure a respectful and productive relationship. 

14. Can I offer confidential advice to my mentee?  

- Yes, but make sure both you and your mentee agree on confidentiality terms before sharing sensitive information.

After the Session  

15. How can I provide feedback on the mentoring session? 

- You’ll need to fill session report field after each session to share your thoughts on the experience and the mentee’s progress. 

16. What if I’m not satisfied with the mentoring process? 

- Let us know! We’re here to support you and will work with you to resolve any concerns or suggest adjustments.  

17. Can I mentor more than one person at a time? 

- Yes, you’re welcome to mentor multiple mentees if you have the time and capacity. Just be sure to manage your availability accordingly. 

Technical Issues  

18. What should I do if I encounter technical issues during a session?  

- Reach out to our support team, and they’ll help troubleshoot the issue. If necessary, you can reschedule the session with your mentee.  

19. Is there technical support available for mentors? 

- Absolutely! We’re here to assist you with any technical challenges you encounter. 

Miscellaneous  

20. How is my personal information protected? 

- We take data privacy seriously and ensure your information is protected in line with our privacy policy. 

21. Can I exit the mentoring program if it doesn’t suit me? 

- Of course! If you find the program no longer aligns with your needs, you can step back at any time.

22. What topics are typically covered in mentoring sessions?

- Sessions often cover career planning, skill development, navigating industry challenges, and personal growth. But it’s really tailored to the needs of your mentee. 

23. Can I help my mentee with specific projects or challenges? 

- Yes, if that aligns with your mentoring goals. You can provide guidance on specific projects or help them think through solutions to challenges. You can also pitch your services listed with us. 

24. How can I provide services to mentees?
